    The City of Oshawa will name a waterfront park to recognize the many contributions Mr. Ed Broadbent has made to public service and the City of Oshawa and his commitment to the residents, workers and businesses of Oshawa.

    The Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee (OEAC), in partnership with the Region of Durham, Oshawa PUC and Ontario Tech University’s Office of Campus Infrastructure and Sustainability, is proud to present a free screening of “Call of the Forest” by world recognized author and scientist Diana Beresford-Kroeger on Thursday, October 17th at the Regent Theatre.

    100 Whiting Avenue, also known as the former Robson Tannery office building and now the headquarters of Central Lake Ontario Conservation (C.L.O.C.A.), has been designated as a property of cultural heritage value or interest under the Ontario Heritage Act.

    This fall, our community welcomes more than 20,000 new and returning post-secondary students to our city. The City of Oshawa is reminding community members of the new Community Safety Zones on Conlin Road and Simcoe Street North located near the shared Durham College and Ontario Tech University campus.
