The City of Oshawa is calling on your feedback to help develop a 10-year Economic Development Strategy for Oshawa for the chance to win one of three $50 gift cards!

The Oshawa Economic Development Strategy aims to provide a comprehensive community-focused plan that positions our community for success over the next decade by driving investment with the expressed goal of growing and diversifying Oshawa’s economy.

The strategy aims to respond to current challenges and opportunities by providing flexibility as Oshawa’s economy diversifies further into knowledge-based sectors. Once developed, the strategy will be monitored for progress and adapted at the five-year strategy midway point with Council approval.

Feedback from community members and local businesses will help inform and guide specific items within the Oshawa Economic Development Strategy.

Participate in one of two (2) ways:

• Discuss the topic in-person with City staff at an Oshawa Economic Development Strategy community engagement table on Wednesday, September 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at CORE21 (21 Simcoe St. S.).

Feedback will be received until noon Thursday, September 14 and will be presented to the Economic and Development Services Committee in November 2023.
