Energy Conservation Challenge

Consultation has concluded

Way to go Oshawa! We had a great response to the Energy Conservation Challenge!

The City's Energy Conservation Challenge, in partnership with Oshawa P.U.C. Networks and the Oshawa Public Libraries, kicked-off on Earth Hour (March 19) and ran through to Earth Day (April 22).

Thank you to all those who participated by submitting tips on how to conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Tips were submitted below on Connect Oshawa and in person at City facilities.

The Oshawa Environmental Advisory Committee, a committee of volunteers that advises Council with respect to certain environmental matters, reviewed all submitted tips.

The Committee selected three winners who will receive gift certificates for Oshawa restaurants, donated by the Oshawa P.U.C. Networks. Congratulations to the first and second place winners, Dorothy Booher and Hazel MacPhail.
