Oshawa’s first Diversity and Inclusion Plan is under development and before it is finalized, we want to hear from you which action items are priorities to the community. The Plan is being developed in collaboration with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback in Phase one of the Plan. Your feedback provided valuable information to create strategies and key action items for the plan. Before the Plan is finalized, we are looking for your feedback again. Tell us which action items are priorities are to you.
The purpose of the Diversity and Inclusion Plan is to identify recommended strategies and actions for the City to take over the next five to ten years to ensure all residents have equal access to employment opportunities, programs and services, as well as feel welcomed and involved within the community.
