Local Government Week

Consultation has concluded

Local Government Week provides residents with an open invitation to get to know their local government and the role it plays in defining not only the programs, services and physical make-up of the City, but also the character, culture and environment that makes Oshawa so unique.

As in previous years, the City of Oshawa will feature a City staff member each week leading up to Local Government Week. This year's profiles will begin the week of September 19 and will feature staff from different departments.

New this year, we're increasing our online engagement opportunities:

  • Feel free to ask questions about how a municipality is run, or even ask profiled staff questions about their jobs in the Question & Answer section.
  • Share stories of your interactions with City staff in the Stories section.
  • Answer polls on City-related trivia in the Quick Poll section.
