Legends Centre Pollinator Garden

On Saturday, September 23, community members attended the Legends Centre Pollinator Garden and Meadow Planting Event & Ceremony, a joint celebration event of the City of Oshawa, Tree Canada, CN and the Government of Canada.

The event began with a ceremony at 9:00 a.m. followed by volunteer planting of pollinator friendly flowers and shrubs.

Location: Legends Centre (1661 Harmony Road North), southeast of the main entrance and behind the branches of the library and seniors centre

The Legends Centre Pollinator Garden and Meadow provides much needed habitat and food necessary to promote pollinator health in our community and beyond. The planting event was part of Tree Canada’s #Canada150 celebrations made possible by CN and the Government of Canada. Learn more at www.oshawa.ca/legendspollinator.
